Wait 15 minutes and retest without giving any food. Let's see if she rises on her own. If not then you can steer her. Its ok :bighug:
I'm inclined to think its too early in the cycle for her to rise on her own but we will see.
Hi Thank you :bighug: I knew this was going to happen that is why I decided to get +9 She keeps doing these nose dives It is very scary

ok that's good so she's not going down. Did you already give her food?
HI She will not eat ANY HC food that I have bought She will not eat any human food. I had to give her some honey and dry food because that is what she will gooble I know it is not good for her but I have to chose my battles to keep her alive and not hypo:oops: THank you for being here:bighug:

Generally, we don't recommend giving HC at +9 because the cat should be coming up that late in the cycle, but I know Amethyst is a late-nadir cat so I don't know what the recommendation is for cats who nadir late.
@Bobbie And Bubba
@Wendy&Neko
Well, Bubba used to be a late nadir cat also but at a 91 at +9 I would probably have just giving some LC food to slow her down some. 91 is still a nice safe number and 23 points away from our take action number of 68 with the AT2. Chances are when they hit a green after not seeing one, they are going to start to bounce and with high carb food/ honey on top of that they soar up. I see she is all ready at 150. To be safe, I would hold off on any food and test her at 30 minutes from the honey to see if she is holding up her numbers and not still dropping.

Okay Thank you:cat:

91 is perfectly safe, we don't worry until 68. Next time you see upper green, DO NOT FEED, wait half an hour and test again. If she is about the same or rising after 1/2 hour, DO NOT FEED. This late in the cycle, you do not want to give carbs and influence the PMPS number. Often they will just surf in safe greens. If she goes lower after half an hour, post for help.
