Hi Pam, I think once you get those high dose condition tests in you may have an answer to that. It is possible that she just needs more than others. Hope you can get those test soon as it will at least help figure out why :bighug:

You are doing what you are suppose to do, and doing a good job at it. Amethyst has a good mom.
 
Hi Thank you!!! Dr Bonnie can not come out until Aug 31. That is when our appointment is. She also is not sure that she can do the tests I really do not want to stress Amethyst out by having to take her to the hospital for those!!!:oops:
 
If she can take his blood and has a company she uses to manage the tests, she should be able to. I know some places work differently, for me my vet took the blood and had IDEXX lab pick it up and sent to MSU. If she uses a specific lab they probably already deal with MSU.

Another thought, if she can't it maybe possible maybe for her to take the blood and for you to drop it off at the hospital. I know that was also one of my options, as my vet didn't know if they could do it either. If she wasn't able to, I was going to get her to take it, and I was going to drop it off RIGHT AWAY at the Vet hospital (she would have advised them first, to make sure there was no issue and could do it)

Hi Jillian at DCIN said it had a certain process that it has to go thru and Dr Bonnie was going to research and let me know That is a great idea about me taking it to the hospital without Amethyst!!! I will let you know Thank you!!!
 
Yes there is a process, or more how it needs to be packaged and sent. Some vet hospitals and labs already have the proper packaging and forms so it's easier and faster, other places have to order in the packaging and forms and that takes a while. I was lucky, the lab was used to it, so I didn't have to wait.

So in the mean time, just keep going as you are.
