Pamela - Amethyst has such great stable BG numbers. It looks like she's doing so well, especially for having Acromegaly.

Tears of hope you get that miracle. The past few days, my interest in Acro has peaked, and I am in awe of the extra dedication it takes to care for these cats. Isn't it crazy how gorgeous the extra big paws are for instance? Strange thinking those nice features would be something to dread.

I spent almost $2500 to treat Tina's hyperthyroidism, which was more than I had previously been able to handle. Needing $6-8,000 or more to have the SRT treatment, ouch.
It looks like the Cabergoline may be contributing to such good D control - you are Amethyst's Angel :)
Tina can make very big paws, bigger than most larger cats. When she flares them out they are huge - beautiful.

Exactly right about the support here, and her youth. She's completely worth it.
