? Amethyst 03/17/2018 PMPS 300 YIKES! NDW or Infection?

Could be the last bits of NDW. Or maybe she wants to go high before going lower tonight. Do you have any reason to suspect an infection?

She still has the infection on her face from last week It spread I think because I was afraid to give her the Clavamoz
My fault I made it worse Our Mobile vet was here on Wednesdaay She is on the Clavamox,plus Tresaderm Lotion 2x a day I hope it clears up Are her numbers up because of this???I have Probiotics on hand in case
With an acrocat, it's really hard to pinpoint the "why" of higher numbers. Could be so many things, including tumour growth. In this case could also be NDW, a lower number earlier today, high before the low, possible infection. Don't try to figure out the why. Just follow the protocol and dose based on the numbers she's giving you.

She is all the up to 9U 2x a day She has never gone that high
A cat needs however much insulin they need. Kitties with acromegaly and IAA just make our jobs a bit trickier. But they still love us the same.
