My kitty Leo had a mild IBD flare up recently. At the specialist's he had blood work up done along with a UA. His lab values were all great numbers, including his glucose. He has never had numbers like these. I just can't believe what taking him off dry food and losing some weight has done even though his single protein duck canned food is not the absolute best in low carbs. Not sure if the probiotics has helped the numbers but- who knows? I just wish I would have realized a long time ago how bad dry food is for some cats, especially those that are already over weight. I just had to share this - his numbers in the past have always been so out of whack with what they should be. Even his cholesterol went way down and he wasn't even fasting at the time.
