can you good people look at our ss and tell me if it looks like we're making any progress? Feeling really discouraged right now. Any feedback appreciated.

What are the " for? It takes awhile for the depot to fill when giving lantus. It takes awhile for numbers to start coming down sometimes but if the nadir number is showing lower then it should be working.

Sorry the " is ditto.

Bear in mind we've been on lantus since november. Started at 2u.
 
Hi Jen. Mr. Biddles certainly like to vary his numbers, lol! What does he usually eat during the course of the day?
 
I think I've said this before, but just in case I'm thinking of someone else (which is totally possible!!), it's really important for you to try to start getting at least a "before bed" test in on that PM cycle

Without doing that, we're missing over half the data....and it could be the half that we need to know about!!

If he's going low at night, he could be bouncing back high in the daytime and we'd never know. We've seen that the 4.5 got him down to 116 before...it's possible he's gone lower and we just haven't seen it.

If you can just get those tests in on the PM cycle, we'd be a lot more confident in telling you when you need to increase the dose. It's true that we don't want them staying at a dose that's not getting them where we want them to be, but without a little more information, it's very hard to know what to suggest.

You don't have to stay up all night or anything (unless we happen to see him going too low and it's for his own safety of course) ....if you could just get a +2 or +3 each night before you go to bed, that would really help

What you're feeding him are great low-card foods, so that's a plus! It would be really helpful if you could manage to catch a few more tests, especially those before-dinner/bed ones. Then we would be better able to try and help you level out his BG and keep it lower! :bighug::bighug::bighug:
