Frank isn't bouncing this morning. I ran 2 tests to verify. Thoughts on AM dose? 3 still or back down a bit? Any help is appreciated!
Will be nice to see what his nadir looks like todayI can't monitor. I can get home at like +4/5, but that's it. I think I'll leave plenty of canned food out and do 2.75.
If he stays yellow the rest of the day there could be some action coming. I'm repeating what I've heard from the Lantus folks quite often.Got home a little later than planned so I missed the nadir. But he's good. I'm sure we had some blues in there this afternoon.
Is that supposed to sound ominous or encouraging? Haha. I'm on the fence how to take it.If he stays yellow the rest of the day there could be some action coming. I'm repeating what I've heard from the Lantus folks quite often.
It's not meant to be ominous. It's something people have observed frequently so they've learned to pay attention. It might not happen though. The action usually takes the form of sudden appearance of low numbers - not hypo necessarily but lower then you expect. Is that supposed to sound ominous or encouraging? Haha. Weell....I left 1/4 of a cup out this morning, then let him eat out of the treat bucket tonight while I was getting his shot ready. So I think he really went to town in those 2 minutes. He wouldn't eat his wet food...probably because I left quite a bit out today and he was over it...and I wanted him to eat before I shot.Oh man...I was really thinking you would see something better tonight. Dry food can certainly do that. Did he eat it as regular food, or just as treats though? I wouldn't think treats would have that much of an impact.
I'm pretty positive his royal pigness isn't skipping meals
