Alternative to Evo?

Evo has been working very well for Andy over the last several years, but now that he's gotten a taste of Fancy Feast (occasionally fed to my new cat) he often shuns the Evo and begs for the F.F. I guess he's bored with it. Are there any good alternatives to Evo that are similar in calories and carbs? I'll eventually peruse the infamous Janet/Binky list. Just looking for some quick info before I dash off to work. Thanks!

I had a similar thing happen, despite trying in earnest, I received much pouting, and what I found was mixing a 1/2 can of the gluten free FF and 1/4 can of the Evo was the compromise we could both agree on. He’s on a 200 cal/day diet restriction so that seemed to hit the perfect stride for daily calories.

A mix of gluten free FF and Evo is a good solution for a low carb, high quality wet food. A lot of my guys are not happy with either Evo or Wellness alone. So, mixing it with FF or Friskies (rotating chix, turkey and mixed grill flavors) seems to keep everyone happy (10 of them).

Hope this helps

Hi,
I'm also struggling with food/calories, etc. Do you happen to know what % of calories are carbs, and what % are fat and protein in the EVO? Also, where do you buy it? I have not seen it at my PetCo store. My girl also prefers FF, but I'm trying Merrick right now and I'm afraid it might be bumping her numbers up...

I know you're headed out, but maybe you could let me know later. Thanks!

I'm not sure what the exact values are, but I do know it's very low carb and high in protein. I purchase Evo from petfooddirect.com.
