..he hovered around 80 most of the cycle. Of course this morning is a bounce but I love that it is only a bounce to the sundeck.

He was very restless after dinner. He kept going outside which he only does if he is hungry and looking for some creeper to chew on. I decided to feed him some 8% carb food about an hour after he finished the Tiki. Then I gave him more 8% during his normal snack time at 11:15pm. I had a hand on him all night so he just purred and purred.

As per protocol, I have lowered his dose to a fat 1.5u. Don't know if this will stick...

Hey buddy do me a favor and talk to your girl Autumn...tell her to come back and play with you again her mommy is tired of the springboard stuff. I would much rather have her hanging out playing poker with you than doing her Lady In Red routine.

What a great preshot Robin, hope he holds the reduction...Did you ever think you'd see the day when he'd go down in dose? lol I know I never thought I would have been going down with Autumn.

I didn't think there would ever be a change for him. Then I read yesterday that there was a cat here that went OTJ after 5 or 6 years on insulin... what!!!!!

Anything's possible but no matter what, I am here for my sugarboy.

I hope he gets to see his girl soon.

Yeah that was I think way before my time here, but I do remember someone on the Lev ISG mentioning it a couple times before when one of us would be banging our heads against a wall. The longest I actually remember was Devon's Mocha she finally broke after 22 months. Then there is my Cassanova, while poorly managed in the beginning with his other momma he had been on insulin for 2 and 1/2 years before me and then nearly a year with me before I walked him off. Now Autumn if I can get her back under control again might do the same after what now geez like almost 3 years? Give or take.

Poor Alska was not on any insulin before I got him. His first foster mom couldn't inject and before that who knows how long he went untreated. When he got so emaciated, I guess his owners just took him to the pound. I am not holding my breath for an OTJ party for him but I do like when I don't have to worry about him. Sometimes I just feel bad that he is a very old eleven year old cat - then I put my hand on his head and hear him purr and think this is all he really wants - care, protection, food, home and affection.
