Hi everyone,
I think I may be using an alohatrak (not 2) with the alphatrak2 test strips. Does anyone know what this means for my numbers? I is set at 37 according to the strip bottle but suddenly my cat's numbers seem high.

You can use the original AlphaTrak meter with the new AlphaTrak 2 test strips. The meter has to be set to set to "code 7" in order for the AlphaTrak2 test strips to work correctly.

Here is a thread with this info: http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/viewtopic.php?p=787627&sid=a9e515536159d6e5b139d3f8d58bafda and http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/...&sid=cbeee8d779471051d5d09407384051c3#p869647

And this info from ADW: AlphaTRAK 2 test strips have replaced the original AlphaTRAK test strips. Use CODE 7 for all species when using the original AlphaTRAK meter with the new AlphaTRAK 2 test strips. http://www.americandiabeteswholesale.com/product/alphatrak-pet-glucose-test-strips_2754.htm
