Alphatrak 2 cable, Alphatraker software?

This is a shot in the dark:

I'd like to have the data cable and software to transfer data from my Alphatrak 2.

I read an old (2016) thread here about this cable and software that was from Abbot, but the thread contained all dead links, dead ends.

I emailed Zoetis today and they said:
"With regard to ALPHATRAK 2®, the decision to discontinue the data cable and AlphaTRACKER software was made in 2016, as the business had decided to move to a digital application that offered more functionality and ease of use. Once transitioned to this platform, the cable was no longer provided by Zoetis."

The cable still lists on Amazon, but shows "Unavailable".
I can't find a software download anywhere.
I could probably DIY a stereo mini to USB adaptor cable, if I knew the pinouts, but I'm certain that I can't write the software from scratch. (Also it may match other similar cables made for other products?)

OR: Please recommend an alternative, low priced monitor, that has upload capability. I don't mind if it's wired or wireless, I just don't want to manually transfer numbers into Excel by hand... ;-)
