alpha track question

I know I read somewhere here.. but I cant find it. What is considered normal numbers for a kitty using apha trak meter.

Normal for a pet meter depends on the lab. Generally 68 to 150 is considered normal but IDEXX labs indicates they consider up to 175 as normal.

@MrWorfMen's Mom - Linda, those would be values on a serum chemistry analyzer. It would not necessarily be the same as on an AlphaTrack. I believe we consider 68 to approximately 140 as normal range on a pet meter.

Neither of the two pet meters I used/tested nor another I checked out online provide "normal" range in their user documentation. They provide their version of low and high I presume based on their testing against whatever lab they used for testing the meter. The only reference available is the serum chemistry analyzer and since the meters are tested against various labs, I think it's safe to assume the range is close enough given the difference seems to be at the high end rather than low. Since I've been here 68 to 150 has been considered normal on the AT2 meter. Any time I took my girl to the vet, I checked her BG immediately before and her BG was always within a few points of the IDEXX lab results. Thankfully she was a pretty laid back girl.
