WOW, I am not sure what to think
I will test again at maybe +4 tonight, but
that is a huge difference.
Almost makes sense about the fructosomine test
That is a difference of 158 points...that is HUGE! :o :?
 
I want to see that happen a few times before drawing any conclusions. You're right, that's a huge difference.

This is what happen to me too. I was getting lower numbers on the freestyle and shooting accordingly and not going anywhere. It just didn't make sense. Then i compared with alpha and relion side by side and the alpha and relion were within 30pts of each other always.

Just another note too. I noticed that when i was in the higher numbers on the alpha trac, the freestyle would be even higher than 100pts. When the numbers when down a bit, the alpha trac and freestyle were within 100pts. The gap was a little less, but still too huge. That is when i went with the relion meter and than compared side by side with all three meters on same drop. I am very scienctific minded, so i tried to take all the variables out of the equation(i.e., different blood drop). I even tried it on myself(freestyle) thinking i had a dud or something. It worked fine on human blood, not not feline. I see other posts have had the same problem with freestyle. Just do your own experiments and determine for you. LOL

that is 141 points.....

I will do this again in the moring and call my vet t o see what she says

And maybe swing by walmart.....
 
This is really interesting to me, because we have a Freestyle lite (and odd numbers).
I'll be following this with curiosity towards your experiments.
