I tested her just now +11.3 from PM and it was 273, she is rising.

I will shoot 2.5u and get a proper AMPS in a bit (I only tested because she was crying.)

I’m almost out of Alice food again, and out of canned for the other 3. I am still really tired. Stress. :\ Shot is in 30 min and updates will be made then.

Here are my Ginger Boys being precious this morning. It was bath time. <3

Oh yes. AMPS and +2, 282 and 284, respectively. Shot was a sort of skinny 2.5u. Was able to do a little housework. Trying to force myself into another nap, riiiiiight..... now!

Her body condition is a gazillion times better. It surprises me sometimes to touch her and have her feel so much more sturdy than she was for so many months.
She is so pretty, I love her coloring @AliceMeowliss&Cassandra

Thank you @Diane Tyler's Mom :) I have 1 other cat, too, besides those 3, and a bunny! :D

+6 was yellow-something (it’s written down at home, will SS update later)..... so she is still rebuilding her depot, of course.

It is allowing me to catch short sleep cycles. I had 3 hours last night and 3 hours today, I think.

Lately I often have to sort of spoon her friskies to her, or hold it up in front of her face while she eats. She will still go crazy for Sheba snacks and gravy. She seemed to be trying to sneeze yesterday..... I wonder if she finally has caught her herpes the other cats have and if it is making her nose stuffy and making her want to eat a little less of certain things. Maybe.....

PMPS 203, she’s steadily dropped all day from 282 at AMPS, presumably rebuilding her depot! Feeding. Will shoot 2.5u in a few min. :)

Just a suggestion, I see Alice eating out of a deep dish, A LOT of cats have a problem with this , including my 3. Try feeding her on a shallow dish, even a plate and raise her bowl. I made mine each a thing to raise the dish out of a small cardboard box, say 7x7, 4" high,I'll try to attach pics of mine, and cut a hole to set the dish in so it doesnt get knocked off.I got a little bored and covered mine with contact paper:rolleyes: Some cats are VERY picky about their whiskers touching the sides of a bowl. The dishes I use are the old corelle soup dishes, they're hard to find, but you may be able to find something similar, or use a plate. Hope that helps with maybe Alice eating more and being more comfy:bighug:.

What is whisker fatigue?
The Truth Behind Whisker Fatigue. ... Whisker fatigue may sound like something dreamed up by kitty hypochondriacs, but evidence suggests that it's quite real. Cats'whiskers are thick hairs whose technical name is vibrissae. They are incredibly sensitive at the tips, where each has a sensory organ called a proprioceptor.

Should cats eat from elevated bowls?
When it comes to elevated pet food bowls, most products are designed for dogs, butcats can benefit from this type of feeder as well. An elevated bowl allows your cat toeat in a more natural position, which may improve his digestion as well as his comfort. sorry 2 of the same pic.
Wanted to add I've had A LOT less throwing up since I've done this :)

@Cindy&Taco , thanks! I have been thinking about this. She does not usually use the small pyrex bowl but I was doing dishes. She has some metal ones that work okay and I often have it set up on the shelf which raises it a bit. I have been thinking about adjusting her setup. :)

I know what you mean about sleep.I test Tyler at 9:00 am and 9:00 pm
Then feed him and by then it's 9:30 when he's done eating, So I wait the 30 minutes and the give him his Insulin. Then the testing and feeding again. A couple of times I didn't go to bed until 4 am. Have to get up at 7 am for his brother to give him his meds. Then at 9 am , test Tyler, give Perry a different med, wait for Tyler to get done eating, so I stay up, why go back to sleep. So I hear ya about only getting 3 hrs of sleep
Hoping she didn't catch herpes. I hope you get some rest tonight @AliceMeowliss&Cassandra

THIS!!! Someone cries for a snack. I get up. Sometimes I sit on the floor with Alice like a zombie in the middle of the afternoon waiting the next feed or test and just.... sort of phone staring.... Partner snores away at night. I do the night tests and most day things and all the research. I do the driving. The errands. The budget we have no money to actually maintain. The appointments (like vet!)..... I usually need some medicine to sleep but not all of them allow me to get up within the next three or four hours, so I don’t take those, I try different combos of things.... sometimes I can’t get to sleep before it is time to get up at all!!!! It’s exhausting. I know I am doing it all for the right reasons but once in awhile I miss having a chance to just stay in bed all day, dump some (atrocious, as we all now know) dry food in everyone’s bowls, and take a nap, a day off, not worry like an uptight crazy person about the schedule which is always this intense thing now. LOL.

I am so tired right now that I'm nodding out lol, hope fully need more test to get in at 3:00 pm if it's ok to call it a night
Sleep well! I’m trying to make it happen for myself too. If I could fall asleep right this second I think I could sleep for up to 4 and a half whole hours!!! Lol!

Got a +4 because she was crying. We did a quick game of red dot first, her number was 212, so she is yellow-surfing the night. Made up more mushy LC.... Safe for now......

Good ,I'm glad she's safe now, I actually could sleep for 2 days straight easy

Cassandra, do you give any of your cats L-lysine? It has been found to help with herpes. My Cinco had it and once I got him on the L-lysine he stopped sneezing. I gave it to all my cats as a preventative. You can buy it in most health food stores or online. Just be sure there are no other ingredients. If they aren't too picky, you can mix it in their food. For my current two I put it in #4 gelcaps and give it to them in a pill pocket (they are not diabetic).
