Guess she is bouncing from that green last night! Arg. Hope it clears soon. She is purry and happy and settled right back by my side after breakfast.

I think I need to weigh her today and start figuring out her proper calorie rations before she gets a bit portly for herself. :p

(She was always free-fed and weight-maintained on dry food in her youth, but insulin forces your body to take in energy...... my mother was talking about how it makes her gain weight this week actually.... and how her steroids caused hers, too.)

Alice is hitting her allowable limit. I still can’t figure out how to slim down one of the Ginger Boys. I won’t have 50% of my cats overweight, darn it!

Catcat seems to enjoy playing tetherball with his koi-on-a-ribbon or his feathery-mousie-on-elastic (this one dangling from a "fish pole") -- he doesn't seem to GET the laser pointer, nor for that matter, the sunlight reflecting off my watch face -- Blake the dog goes crazy over either of those, worse when it happens when I'm not expecting it --

of course, since our house is on three levels, he gets considerable exercise going up and down the stairs, sometimes he follows me out back when I go feed the barn cats too --

Alice doesn’t go outside and she was never a heavy play cat—she likes her naps. The first time her brother went nuts over a weird reflection and made that weird noise cats make at birds and shiny things, I was like..... hmm my cat is possessed! Lol. But we just did some good red dot until she wore out.
I think if I had stairs again.....!
 
Very good to keep them moving (we need to move also!) I pull a string around & all 3 join in trying to catch it. I get a bit of exercise also! :joyful:

I also weighed her. She seems so solid to me, but she hasn’t gained. 3.37kg! :) (Almost 7.5lbs) This is actually just right, she is remaining fairly steady this month and also generally weight restored (up to 8lbs max when she was much younger).
