The mid carb chicken and gravy lured her away from the sharks and onto the beach. I hope her depot keeps her from getting too uncomfortable today. I was very groggy this morning and not interested in trying to delay her shot schedule by two whole hours or something waiting for her to go up.

She will get 1.75u tonight.

I’m child-watching and waiting for human to finish some work so we can go back home to sweet Alice. We also need to clean up bunny Valkyrie’s resting place today (in the yard), as she passed a year ago today.

I expect there to be Alice pics later. <3
 
She was up to 404 at +10.5, but came down to 382 at PMPS, this was not fasting because I gave her a small snack +10.5 because I had not been available to give one sooner and she was very hungry. Of course she was already going to be high enough to shoot safely. She had her new reduction to 1.75u.

I would have done things differently if I had anticipated being around but I needed to take care of her without the guarantee of my presence. Was also not feeling well this morning with a flare up of something. Normally I also probably would have found a way to still give her a shot of some amount even if I delayed. She’s doing okay though and has been pretty happy today! :)

DKA was 4/5/19!!!!!! Isn’t it crazy what 3 months and a spay and cancer removal can do??? And no sleep for a month and a half? Hahaha. :D
It was really the Lantus instead of the NPH I feel like, that is what allowed her to find enough regulation to start gaining weight back.

I say that to myself. Like I exchanged unhealthy Alice for healthy Alice. She’s padded like a properly weighted kitten cat again, I swear. I think the black cat is the one who is lightest around here now!!!
I saw her tear through the hallway randomly and crazily and I haven’t seen her run around like demons are chasing her and it’s fun in quite a long time!!!!! New cat!!!!! <3 <3 <3 :D
