Since Alice seems to no longer have an infection I think she is aiming for reductions back to normal.

I missed this AM shot and test so I moved her up and shot this afternoon, and she was just hypo at 33 first, retested with larger blood drop and got a 40. Gave syrup (maybe a little too much!) and I had already just fed her.

Retesting soon and I probably have this managed, but it never hurts to throw a post up in case I need help later. My best to all the sweet kitties. <3

Looks like Alice has earned another reduction - maybe it's a sign she's on the mend.

Elise asks a good question - any hypo symptoms? That's more worrying when you see those. I occasionally tested Neko sound asleep in the 30's.

@Wendy&Neko and @tiffmaxee ... no, not really. She never seems to show any symptoms to me.

I was on a video call with a friend though when I caught the hypo, and my friend who lives far away and does not see Alice in person commented that they thought she seemed a little confused or disoriented. I thought she seemed weak is all. I don’t know?

anyway sugar came back up. I gave her lactulose last night, she hasn’t pooped in a few days again but her appetite was low some of those days so I was patient... now I think I better help make sure she gets things moving along....

Weird behavior time: Alice went off and was sitting in the corner by the litter box, then I felt her belly, didn’t get any useful info from that... she is slinking and hiding out.

maybe she is in pain?
Is this the loaf pain position?
