Today it’s me and 6 animals traveling across country. I badly wish we had somewhere to take a real break. I think the bunny is feeling too scared to eat and that can sometimes become an emergency later. Alice won’t quit crying. It was way too hard to dose the gabapentin to everyone in a proper quantity, and I had to completely chase one of the gingers around the whole motel room to get him crated.

exhaustion!

Alice found something dry food and got into a little of it this morning but I just don’t have a regret this one time, since her AMPS was so low and I still shot 2u (slightly skinny though). And we are all so packed in the car it’s hard to access anyone. I don’t know what to do once everyone starts pooping because only Alice has a LB.

Wish us luck. :p

Good luck with the travel! I only did long distance travel with one cat. Who still waited to use the LB when we were at a rest stop. I hope you have lots of spare towels and pee pads. And that scaredy bunny eats, maybe at the rest stops?

In my part of North America, it's the 12th today. ;)

I am sorry things didn’t work out for you.
I was only thinking of you the other day wondering how things were with you.
I hope the rest of your trip runs smoothly and everything settles back down.
Please keep in touch. :bighug:

So does this mean you're going back to where you were before the last time you drove across the country? I'm sorry I'm being dense...just having trouble keeping up...

Best of luck to you on your journey! I know it's exhausting with just one cat to get into the hotel room; lb, supplies, food, and then all our stuff...it's a chore! I cannot imagine doing it for multiples!

Ollie has yet to go in carrier. I had her at work for 6 hrs plus travel to and from and she didn't go until she got back home.I

I have one who throws up and poops within 5 minutes of being in car. Another one sometimes pees.

I have one howler.

Cassandra, I'm so sorry things didn't work out, wishing you tons of luck on your journey back to another new start. Travel safe. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Just reading your story and sending you lots of good-travel vines and a good new home in your old location.
:bighug::bighug::bighug:s for you and scritches and pats for the fur crew.
