Alice 10/5 AMPS 76

yesterday shots all went fine.

This morning she is starting out with a pretty low PS value compared to what we’ve seen lately.... and then she threw up her breakfast. Good thing 6AM is somehow the perfect time for me to also start bleaching walls o_O because I already had the rag out to clean it... and then refeed her a smaller amount. :p

I need to actually write a proper feeding schedule for when I travel this month. I wish cats liked traveling kind of like many dogs do.... because I would soooooo take her with me if I could. Sigh. I’m just not wanting to have a complicated over-burdened schedule for someone that they have trouble following, and one where this person staying in my house will still be able to get a decent stretch of sleep each day. Wondering how to choose feeding times. Not just for Alice but the other 3 cats too (and the bunny, who is pretty easy). Majyk likes to spend time outside and throws up every morning unless I give her a few kibble to start and then wait 30-60 minutes to give a spoonful of wet, for example. ‍♀️

What are your feeding schedules you use when you have a sitter?? Or in general, if you’ve found the perfectly balance feeding schedule, I want to know.

Happy Caturday!

Had someone from my cat group make some silly pics with my half bald cat. :D

Oh so this month is Alice considered a long term diabetic now??? That changes when I take reductions, which I have been wanting to change for awhile because she doesn’t hold the reductions to 1.25u well at all.

She went up into the yellows but that could have been food influenced, I don’t know. :\

Hope Alice came down today...no tests after AMPS on her SS...

I don't have a set feeding schedule except AM and PM pre shots - otherwise Luci demands and I feed her...I'd never go anywhere without her in tow...so I'm sorry I can't offer any suggestions.

Have a good evening!

That’s kind of how I am. I feed by feel mostly. If that makes sense? Buuuut I don’t think she wants to fly on a plane and spend days in a strange house where other cats live. I think she would be least stressed at home. So I need to be able to explain when to feed her. I’m trying to decide what is reasonable to expect from the person, who will be staying in my home. They will be feeding everyone, plus minimal testing and both shots. That’s a lot on a person over a few days and while I am used to not sleeping long schedules like a full 8 hour shift or something, not everyone else is prepared to get up every few hours to feed animals. I’m not sure what normal people do I guess. :p

LOL!! I was chuckling about this...I don't think you're going to find any 'normal' people on this forum...we've all turned our lives upside down for our FD kitties
I dunno...though...perhaps there are some people on the forum that 'know' normal people...I for one don't...they all moved on with their lives while I sit here with my timers...:p

I think you’ve really captured my point. :p:D
