Alex - 9/18 - not a pretty start to the day

Looks a little wonky based on his recent patterns. Hopefully this is just an "oddball" test!

Have a great day!

Could he have gotten into any contraban?

Not unless he smelled it on Audrey's breath.
I do feed her some Evo dry occasionally b/c she so loves it. We kinda sneak it when Alex is occupied with his wet food.
She nibbles a bit and then I immediately stow it away in a cabinet, so not really any possibility of him getting into it.

+9 - 242

I'm pleasantly surprised with this number. Stan took Alex for a short ride as we're toying with the idea of taking him with us to visit with my parents. It's about a 4-hour drive. It doesn't seem the stress from this ride drove up his BG.

Now that's a much nicer number. Maybe this morning was just a fluke. And good to know he isn't all that stressed with a car ride too. The last trip with kitties we made was evacuating from a hurricane with 3 kitties, one of which was blind. 12 hours in a car was absolute hell for all. The only relief was about half way through when they collectively were so exhausted from crying that they all fell asleep. (It was supposed to be a four hour trip, but the whole coast of SC was trying to fit down a 2 lane "highway". We ended up in Asheville NC before we could find a hotel with empty rooms.
Fun times!
Carl

Looks like the day got better! That is great that Sir Alex is taking to riding.....I hope it works out that he can go with you to your parents.
