After our scare at 2.0 units, I've lowered back down to 1.8 and gone are our lovely yellow PSs.
You will notice that he's had quite some "dips" in the evenings, but I don't know what to make of the higher pre-shots.
I'll be home tomorrow, so will be something several mid-cycle tests.

Have a great day! It's cool here in Cincinnati--feels wonderful.

Hopefully, tomorrow you can get some data and regain the yellow preshots. He is still doing so good!

It is actually cooler in NC today--88--feels like Winter after the summer we have tolereated!

Ginny,
Judging by how quickly and how hard he came down....I think I would lower the dose another .2
Reason? Just as likely a bounce at PS's as anything else.
This is what I would do.
And I certainly would not raise the dose.
Trust me, I've been thru the whole bounce routine with this insulin last year. Bounced my way into daily 600+'s.
Check lower dose to see if you don't start getting better number in a day or two.

Tonight's PS was 219 and I certainly didn't want that deep drop again tonight, so I did lower by .2.
Like I say, I will be home tomorrow during the day and can get some mid-cycle readings.
