Alex had a good day yesterday--numbers wise. At +5, he was 129 and maybe he could have gone a little lower at +6, but this morning's AMPS was 388. Do I still attribute this to bounce?

I hate to sound like a broken record but this is what Thumper seems to do all the time.

PMPS - 427 :?:

He did so well yesterday on 1.4, and while the scale calls for more about 300, I think I'll remain at 1.4.

To increase or not increase. That is my twice-daily question I ask myself.

I'm glad you went with 1.4u. You don't know how low he went today or if this is just still a little bounce that will clear by itself.

Yesterday was a perfect day. I think you will start seeing more and more of them.

Rob,
I do love your optimism and wish a little would rub off on me.
AMPS was high again, or still high, at around 350. Tomorrow, I will be able to get a mid-cycle number.

Incidentally, when we got home last night, when Alex's BG was very high at 420-something, he was running around and especially frisky. I was double surprised when his number was so high.

Ginny,
It seems like with these kitties, that much of the time where we get screwed up readings that worry us, they don't realize they are "sick" and couldn't care less what the meter says. I always think of this type of thing as a "good thing".

I know, Carl. Watching his behavior, I think, is more indicative of how he feels than the meter reading.
Which makes me sometimes envious of my friends who have diabetic kitties and don't test, but just shoot.

I'll never do this, but sometimes it might be nice to have my head in the sand.
