We've been shooting 1.6 since the end of September. Alex has been having a mixture of pink and yellow preshots on this dose, so I decided to try to do a mini-curve today.
Hoping some of you can look at his spreadsheet today and tell me what you think.

AMPS - 239
+3 - 202
+6 - 89
+9 - 171

My initial thought is an increase but I want to see the whole curve first...

Nice, I just wish his PS's would start coming down. The more times he sees those greens the less he will react to them and the PS's should start coming down by themselves.

Probably a little liver freak out from the 89 yesterday.

I hope he has another great day after the bounce wears off.

amps - 380
+6 - 200
pmps - 294 (about 30 minutes early as I have to leave and DH won't be home until late)

We've been on this dose for 3 weeks. I would have thought these bounces would be over by now.

You would think that he would be getting more used to the blues and greens by now, hummm.

Do you still think I should stay on this dose or increase a bit?

You don't have a lot of room to drop more at nadir, your ss is looking better overall with more yellows. I think I would stay here and let him get more used to the greens, then his PS's should start coming down.

I'll look at your ss better later today.

He is a puzzlement, Ginny. If I look back over his ss, he does seem to like 1.6 and get pretty good numbers on it. It could be he is really a bouncy boy - certainly one way to interpret his ss. Wonder about giving a fat 1.6 and see if he likes it?

I've been playing around with a sliding scale for Alex if you're interested. I started with the only good numbers you get, a 1.6u on a 230ish number and expanded from there. If you get good results on that, shooting 1.6u into any other number either higher or lower isn't going to give you the same results.

So here it is.

301 to 350 - 1.8u
251 to 300 - 1.7u
200 to 250 - 1.6u
175 to 199 - 1.4u
150 to 174 - 1.2u

Thanks, Robin. I can give this a try. In fact, this morning at AMPS, he was at 278 and I shot a fat 1.6, which is close to 1.7.

BTW, how is Harley? You give so much to us and we forget you have a sugar kitty to care for yourself.

I commented to DH today that Alex was looking and behaving exceptionally well. I guess he likes "green".

It's possible, remember, don't shoot the bounce, for tonight if he's still really high stick with a straight 1.6u like you have been.

Thanks for asking about Harley, he is not doing well on Lantus. I'm going to try a bam dose this weekend maybe and see if I can get a breakthrough, if not we are coming back to Prozinc.

Yesterday Thumper went from a 109 at +9 to 333 at +11.5 not as bad as Alex's but it's just crazy. Did you check a second time?

Glad Ginny asked too, I always think of Harley when I'm not on! Sorry he's not doing well on Lantus but maybe this weekend will help.
