Air bubble in lantus pen

So it was my first time using the syringe for the Lantus pen and I accidently shot some air into the Lantus pen when trying to fill the syringe. I had to put the pen needle on it and shoot some insulin out in order to get it out. I cant see it anymore. Is this okay?
 
Yep you're fine. I usually just use a syringe to siphon them out but whatever works.

Actually since you're shooting sub-q even if you end up getting one in a syringe you're not going to harm anything..you're shooting under the skin not into a vein. Only time air is bad is into a vein.
