After upping dose, BS are very high

Please check spreadsheets. I am sorry I didn't get BS on monday because of my crazy schedule, but she has been high ever since. i haven't completed a full curve on her but i have most of the holes filled in at various places. Any ideas?

Hi Sarah,

It's possible that 1.5U is too much. If you notice back on the 23rd she was in the 400s after the 53 at preshot. It's very possible that she had a low like that when you're missing preshots/tests which resulted in the 411.

If you can learn how to measure doses in smaller increments than .25U it might help. The differences between the doses when you have to give earlier shots may be too large. I like her preshot numbers between the 31st and the 5th, and then the 8th - 11th, and those doses were all 1U to 1.25U, so somewhere in there is probably where she should be as a regular dose.

To measure less than 1.25U, draw to what you consider 1.25U, then squeeze off 1 drop, that would probably be about 1.15U (we usually consider 1 drop a tenth of a unit).
