Affordable Canned Cat Food options for Diabetes (and separately early stage kidney disease)

I've got 2 older cats (over 15), one with diabetes and one with beginning kidney disease.

First I'm looking for recommended low carb affordable canned food for my diabetic cat, and after reading it would appear that Fancy Feast and Friskies both have classic pate options that would qualify as low carb and be good for diabetics, is this correct? Any other recommendations? Ideally spending $1.50 or less per 5 oz can.

Separately I'm looking for a low phosphorus canned food for my other cat, she's eating Hills Prescription Diet K/D dry kibble right now, but trying to get her onto a wet food she likes (she didn't like the wet version of the k/d). Any suggestions? I looked at the food chart linked on this forum but the felinercf.org list appears to be dated and very small, while the info from catinfo.org lists mg phosphorus/100kcals but doesn't mention what threshold I should try to stay under.

Thanks!

Hello!

Here are the links to our food charts: Links to FOOD CHARTS

On that list, did you look at this chart: https://www.bizave.com/foodlists/Combined_Food_Lists_Feeding_Guide.pdf This was last updated 8/25, so it's fairly recent. This chart also has the carb values that diabetic cats need to follow. On the list, you're looking for the "carbs % of calories" to determine the carb values.

Fancy Feast classic pates are good low carb options, but I believe they are high in phosphorous, so they would not be good options for your CKD kitty.
