I am wanting some advise please. I have held Ruddigars lantus at 1.5 units for 9days and he is still very high at amps and pmps And doesn’t drop much during cycle. Is it wise to increase to 2 units BD? He has hi glucose in his urine but I don’t think ketones he is eating well and always starving. thankyou

Do you have half unit marked syringes? I think it would be safer to do a 0.25 unit increase to 1.75 units.

Hi Wendy & Neko I don’t have .5 unit syringes they are all 1 unit in Australia that’s why it’s super hard

I could draw it up to 2 then take 2 drops out, think that will help?

One trick is to practice with a used syringe and water with food coloring. Count the drops. Once you get that figured out keep the syringe as sample. Another suggestion is dosing with digital calipers.
