? Advice please for Niki

Hi - we are still trying to figure this out. Niki has been all over the place but numbers are kind of going down. He is on Lantus 4u 2x/day
He was at 67 last night which panicked us, so he got a snack as he was a bit lethargic.

We don’t think that he got his full dose this morning (user error). Now he’s at 172 PMPS and we are unsure...should we reduce to 3 or 3.5 for tonight?

I don’t know how any of you all do this ... frustrating and exhausting...

That 67 last night earned a dose reduction which means his new dose should be 3.75 units. He's done with 4 units.

As for tonight, have you fed yet? If not, can you retest in about 15 minutes and see if his numbers are climbing yet?
 
Thank you for the reply so quickly! Yes, he has been fed. We will do 3.75. For us, we are still having trouble doing the .25 (even though we have .5 markings) as we find it really hard to see!
