Advice-BG numbers all over

Hi, Yesterday (Jan 9) Chinkers BG finally improved some & this morn amps was 511, sky high, never seen his BG this high. His numbers a few hr later today went higher too. Hes low energy, lying around, no doubt feels sicker. Is this bouncing BG or something else to be concerned about? High numbers are scary too, damage organs. Suggestion? or am I over reacting.

Hi Marcia, your best bet is to post in the prozinc forum for advice specific to your insulin and how it works. In the meantime are you checking for ketones? It’s always a good thing to do, especially when numbers are high.

Actually, that black number is essentially in the same high range as the 472's you've had a couple of times. The allowed meter variance is + or - 20%. I suggest you go post on the ProZinc forum for insulin specific advice.
