Adjusting times

Ok, we are wanting to adjust Doogle's time. Yall said I have a few options:
You can move the shot time by 15 minutes with each shot, you can move the shot by 30 min. once each day, or you can skip a shot and make the adjustment in your schedule when the subsequent shot is due.

So when doing the 15 mins or the 30 mins, is that early or past his normal time. Like he is due at 2pm to get his shot....should we test at 1:30 and shot or test at 2:30 then shot. Also, when do you not shot? Like what BG do you not shot at? Getting used to Lantus is not easy when you are used to Humilin N and used to exactly every 12 hours no matter what. I think I am getting confused and scared I am going to make him worse.
