Adequin every other day be (more) effective?

I don’t believe it could hurt just wondering if it would help today....
Nelli gets Adaquin shots every four day and OMG, for two days she fells great! the weather is wet, damt, cool, grey.
It’s been two days since Adequin shot. She’s very stiff today
Today the weather is damp, cool and gray. (Nelli likes to be outdoors during day).
I know it wouldn’t hurt her my question is do you think it would help… Having only been two days later? It is very expensive and therefore I don’t want to waste it.

These are the only dosing I know about. I am using the latter.
For cats, the dose is 0.5 mg to 2.5 mg per pound (1 to 5 mg/kg) in the muscle every 4 days for six doses. Other protocols include using PSGAG at 2.5 mg per pound twice a week for 4 weeks then weekly for 4 weeks then monthly.

I myself would not go to every other day.
