Adequan sides?

Hi,

Owner of a 13 year old sweetheart of a cat. She has a bad shoulder with a noticeable limp. She had her first shot sub-q yesterday.

My question is has anyone had bad sides from it? She sleeps a lot as it is but seems a little more lethargic, and her normal litter box was down from three to one clump of urine over 24 hours.

She my best friend, and I have no family, so I worry about everything I do for her. Any thoughts? She's 12.5 pounds and they have her. 25

My 17 yr old cat was just started on adequan on 1/26. He has only had 2 injections to date, but he seems to act like he feels much better for a day or so after the injection. I have not noticed any bad side effects.

Thank you. I worry so much over her. I just hope she doesn't have any sort of reaction to it.

mr b had a few shots of adequan, subQ, and i didnt notice any sides.

maybe give your vet a little phone call?
