? Acro kitty, whats the preferred insulin?

I am on my last vial of Lantus. Not sure if I should reorder or switch to a different insulin. Is there a preferred insulin for acro kitties, either Lantus or Levemir?

Many people here with acro kitties use Levemir. It's very similar to Lantus except with large doses, Lantus can sting.

What Sienne said. The other major difference between the two insulins is that the onset and nadir is later with Levemir. Lily already has a later nadir, it could be 2-3 hour later on Levemir - something to consider with how that would fit into your schedule. Some acrokitties, but not all, find they need a bit less Levemir and the cycles are flatter. But the biggest difference is the sting at higher doses, which humans have reported. Neko never purred getting her Lantus shot, she has with Levemir.

Since I started giving Lily her shot while she is eating, there is no response from her at all. She's too busy eating I suppose. Not sure what I should do..
