Hi everyone,

I recently had to switch to a new meter because the one I used and LOVED (contour next) bumped its testing strips up in price immensely. Im now using the Accu Chek "guide" meter and strips. I've now wasted about 12 strips total because I keep getting the E-3 error. This error indicates that the blood glucose is too high to read, but Pilot's BG read as 343 at 10:30AM (2.5 units) .... I went to do a mid day reading and keep getting the E3. I find it hard to believe her blood is higher than that at this point??

This keeps happening to me at different points of readings throughout the last few days. Anyone have the same experience with this?

Not familiar with Accu-Check, but with our Bayer Contour and Abbot Precision I get Error too for various reasons. Call the Accucheck's Customer and Tech Service and ask. Accu-Check U.S https://www.accu-chek.com/
