Hi, I think/hope Abby is getting close to trying an OTJ (I use AT and she has been doing ok on a dose drop). At the end of this week, I am supposed to head up to join 2 family members and I am wondering if Abby's numbers continue how they are if people thought I should try OTJ for a few days and/or put Abby through 30 minute car ride stress to go with me (we did this at Thanksgiving - which is the week she was yellow/pink numbers...I think given new environment/people/animals/etc). My roommate will be home if Abby stays home so can test at least once a day and make sure she has fresh wet food, but my roommate isn't home consistently enough to ensure Abby is safe during cycle and/or gets shots at exact time Abby needs them. I could also make the 30 minute drive back and forth twice a day to keep Abby on dose drop; however, I wouldn't be home to make sure she doesn't drop unexpectedly during her cycle (which makes me very nervous). I keep going back and forth on the best approach. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I'm sorry you've not had any replies to this post. I'd suggest trying to ask the question again on the Lantus board. I'd recommend setting the question mark flag against your post and also put something along the lines of "Time Critical: Help and advice needed ASAP" somewhere in the question you pose in the thread title. I hope that you'll get an answer there quickly.

If you need to, keep bumping the thread up to the top of the board to attract attention to it.

thanks Mogs @Critter Mom - I appreciate the note and will follow up on Lantus board. I know everyone is busy right now and I am happy that folks are helping the cats that have more critical questions right now. Thank you for your informative posts - I've learned so much from watching some of your posts and it has really helped Abby. Please take care of yourself and have a wonderful holiday season!

I'm glad to hear that some of my ramblings were helpful to you and Abby. Wishing yourself, Abby, and all your loved ones a happy, safe and peaceful yuletide. :)
