it is true Lantus is linear if compared to ProZ because it can produce gentle , flat cycles - linear cycles but there are differences as to how the two act in cats. The testing schedule is also different for Lantus users v. ProZ users.

It's a shame the language, because I miss a lot of information.

Con respecto a la hoja de cálculo no necesitas una nueva, nada mas colorea todo un renglón y pon un letrero que diga que a partir de ahí es Lantus.

Con mucho gusto te puedo ayudar o podemos preguntar sobre las dudas que tengas sobre Lantus, por principio como Latus se conoce como una insulina de efecto retardado por lo general si ayuda un poco a los gatos que tienen una tendencia a bajadas en sus niveles de azúcar muy rápidas ya que el efecto es mas lento mientras que Prozinc suele ser un poco mas rápido, aunque como reacciona un gato a un cierto tipo de insulina en realidad varia un poco de gato a gato, cada uno es diferente

A veces cuando haces la prueba antes de inyectar insulina sucede que esta en un valor mas bajo de lo que normalmente tiene en esos casos lo que se puede hacer es esperarse unos minutos (10-15) sin darle de comer y volver a hacer una prueba, si en esta prueba se ve que sus niveles de azucar ya van de subida probablemente puedas darle su insulina como siempre pero eso depende de que tan bajo haya sido el valor, lo mejor normalmente es preguntar en el foro de Lantus.

Con Latus no hay tanto problema con el horario de comida de hecho muchos de los gatitos que usan lantus comen libremente a la hora que quieren o hacen varias comidas durante el día lo único que si tienes que considerar es que tienes que retirar toda la comida 2 horas antes de la prueba previa a la inyección de insulina para estar seguros de que el resultado no fue influenciado por algo que haya comido, y por lo tanto es seguro inyectar, otra cosa que tambien tienes que tener cuidado como con cualquier otra insulina es en el caso de que el gato de verdad no este queriendo comer nada porque se sienta mal o este enfermo eso ya sería un caso especial y también you recomendaría que si eso te pasa preguntes en el foro de Lantus

Lo que si es muy importante con lantus son los horarios de la inyección porque necesitas que sea cada 12 horas con la menor variación posible en el horario

Y cuál es el preshot mínimo para disparar insulina con Lantus?.

Al principio se recomienda que si en la prueba previa a la inyección esta en 200 o menos no se inyecte o te esperes unos minutos, sin dar de comer y repitas la prueba (es lo que llaman "stalling") si el valor empieza a subir entonces podrías inyectar o esperar otro rato y volver a probar, y asi hasta que ya vaya de subida o tu no puedas esperar mas y decidas no inyectar, pero en tanto no conozcamos bien como reacciona Cuki you sugiero que preguntes en el foro una cosa que es importante a considerar es si al esperar se mueve la hora de la inyección la siguiente se tiene que aplicar a las 12 horas asi que el horario de inyección completo se mueve y para regresarse al original es de 15 minutos en 15 minutos

No se que tipo de jerigas tengas con marcas de media unidad o no aqui te pongo una foto de una jeriga BD con marcas de media unidad, las marcas del lado derecho son las unidades completas, las del lado izquierdo son las medias unidades
