lalf wnos where he likes to nap, he still growls and hisses at me when I feed him. However, he has taken to the woman across the street and he loves her like crazy. Still won't go in her house either. He sorts of hibernates during snow storms as he did this past 31 inch/45 mph wind blizzard. The three days of cold and no food took it's toll and he was Hypothermic when I saw him wandering around. For the first time I was able to get a good look at him and he was shaking with his head sort of bobbing up and down. I quickly set up my workshop, set up two heaters with food and water. I think the storm made him see advantages of inside living. Prior to this, he would bolt out of anywhere we put hime for safe keeping, but now just complains if i am late with the grub. I have been overfeeding him and he is gaining weight on his skinny body 15 year old body. And now being close to him I can see that the shaking has not stopped. When I asked his girlfriend, my neighbor, about it she said he has been like that since Summer. Since I only have seen him from across the yard I never noticed it. When I feed him he growls from beind the fence.
So, all this to ask, what can cause this shaking and head bobbing? My neighboit thought it was old age so she never mentioned it. Any ideas?
Thank you all and be well.
