Sending prayers.
Only the canned food that he was fine with before and the S. boulardii and 'regular' probiotics. Maybe it's the Clavamox; I think he had only one dose of that at the clinic; the antibiotcs they gave him before that were intraveneous and had a different name (beginning with 'u' I think).Something your giving that's different from what ER gave must be the answer if he didn't have it there but now has at home again.
Oh no! What's going on?Ollie's got it now also.

Ollie is chronic p'titis. But I think the FF changed as its more fish smelling set it off. All cats refuse all FF now.
I am sorry, and I hope she's not suffering! (I guess that's an unrealistic hope.)
I just hope it turns around quickly.
Maxi any better?
I just did a quick search for clavomx side effects and diarrhea is one.
Clavamox does that and vomiting. I had to split the total daily dose into 3 and gave every 8 hrs. It worked but vet was not happy at all, claimed it wouldn't be effective enough. But I couldn't let her continue to vomit or have diarrhea for 14 days. Now I don't allow it for any of my cats. She is the 4th one whose had a problem with it. Tux and PJ have never had it yet so don't know how they would be, they will never have it as far as I'm concerned.
Poor kitties. Sounds like the vet didn't care about the vomiting and diarrhea.
Is there a alternate antibiotic?
Depends what you are trying to treat with it. There are lots of antibiotics, but you want one that's capable of treating the type of infection you are dealing with. Maybe you can ask the vet if there is an alternative. He's going to get dehydrated with constant diarrhea. Is there an alternate antibiotic?

Have you tried S.Boulardii? You can get it at CVS all though there it is pricer than on Amazon, but you will want it fast. It can be added to the food without detection. Here is a link from Food Fur Life website about diarrhea and using the S.Boulardii probiotic. It can be given at the same time as the antibiotic unlike other probiotics. I always had very good luck with it when ever Bubba had gastritis.
