New to the forum. Cicero is about 11 years old, diagnosed in May 2025 and started Senvelgo. All went well for almost 9 months, then his ketones went too high (over 3.0) and he is now being switched to insulin. Ketones were caught during a regular check up, no symptoms. I will be following the Prozinc thread since I have never done insulin before, but will keep an eye on this Senvelgo thread to help provide any details from our 9 months on Senvelgo. Best of luck to those on Senvelgo — it was very easy for us, mixing the meds with his wet food every night. (No idea why the change, our vet even called the drug manufacturer and spoke with vets there. But clearly need to closely monitor ketones on Senvelgo).
