Susie has decided she likes to go low during her pm cycle. I really had to ply her last night with lots of h/c food. This is my second worst nightmare. The first would be if she stopped eating. She might have gone lower last night thus causing a bounce this morning.

Can someone provide me with the link to the site that helps those financially disadvantaged with their cats diabetic needs?

I hope all kitties and care-givers are doing well.

Good morning, Mandy. I would love it if she switched up her cycles but I won't hold my breath. :banghead:

Thanks for the link! I have 1/2 a box (50) of U-40 syringes left over from my Vetsulin days. I would like to see if this group would want them. I know this site has the "Supply Closet" but thought I would check with Diabetic Cats In Need first.

It looks like Susie is staying level today.
She just went up quite a bit but I am not going to stress about it. I'm going to give her at least 10 cycles on the 1 unit before I make any adjustments. The reduction may have failed but I know this cat needs time. Thanks for looking out for us, Mandy.

If I didn't say something, maybe she would have stayed blue?? lol

I don't think this reduction will fail, but time will tell. I'm glad you will give it 10 cycles.

Have a good evening.

Hi Summer, sort of been out of touch due to a foggy brain from being up so late every night. I check Susie’s SS every day. She is, you both are, doing so well. Hope things are okay with your mom. I know you weren’t going for remission but it just might happen. Trust me, it’s the best thing ever for all of you. Time will tell but she’s had a lot of reductions. Sending hugs for a healthy, happy Susie and Summer. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

You are very sweet to be touching base with me. Thank you. I have not posted for three days and thought that maybe I had lost all my friends, except Mandy, because of my lack of posting. So, I really appreciate you stopping by. I totally understand the "brain fog" from being up late at night. Seems Susie is determined to make this an issue with me. I have had several reductions recently and I hope this last one does not fail, but, I will also say that I miss getting a good night's sleep. I think we all need this. Thanks, again, Adrienne. I am so happy to see that I still have support after my being away. I hope you can get a good night's sleep tonight, too.

By the way, your girl is looking good with all those greens. I hope she is feeling better, eating well and showing you affection.
