9/9 Smokey AMPS 197, +7 101 PMPS 169

Well, I put my big girl pants back on today and gave Smokey the full 2U this morning. I think I kind of freaked out with his lower numbers (it's the first time we had been there). I'll watch him closely over the weekend to see what the 2U does now that his PS numbers are significantly lower than they have been. :mrgreen:

Smokey seems to be feeling great- it's just me who's a mess! Have a great weekend everyone! Kitties, be nice for your beans- looking through posts this morning though, seems like everyone is doing well!

Hi guys .. great start to the day! Yes, it is very scary shooting those first few low numbers, but before you know it you'll be shooting double digits without even blinking! Have a great weekend!

Was able to leave work early and work the rest of the day from home. When I tested Smokey's BG at +7 we were at 101!!!!!!

Smokey looks so good today. I know it is scary shooting lower numbers but look at the nice result. I love Smokey's picture. Of course, I am kind of partial to gray kitties!

Smokey spent the afternoon napping and yucked up some water after he gulped too fast (it happens when he drinks then hops back to the bedroom- I think it just is too much jiggling in his tummy). PMPS was 169, gave him his insulin and now he's working of first dinner!

Hello Gwen!

Smokey is looking good. Looks like the lowest you have shot to date.
It's a good idea to get +1 and +2 tests under these circumstances, the information will not only be valuable today but in the future when you are presented with an even lower PS.
You will gain a better feel for how Smokey reacts.
