Primarily, not eating. He acts like he’s interested in food but will barely consume anything. I’ve tried like 20 different kinds of food in the last couple weeks. He will eat something for a day or two but then stops. We had blood work done about a month ago and that’s what it showed. It didn’t show much else except I think she said one of his liver numbers was elevated but without anything else, she wasn’t worried. I’m trying to be pretty regular with ondansetron and Cyproheptadine the last couple days but he hates being pilled so it’s a struggle.
 
What is he getting for nausea? That’s why he’s picky about food. Max needed ondansetron sometimes for months at a time.
 
That’s kind of high. I’d try 2mg every 8 hours. You can start with 4 though. Does he eat within 30 minutes of getting it and then get picky? My Chai need it every 6-8 hours but Max was good with 2 times.

I don’t mind trying 2mg instead. Can too much make him nauseous? I’ll try that. He kind of just stays picky. I’ll try the 2mg every 8ish hours (though while I’m at work, it’ll be more like 9-10 between) and see if that helps. We’re kind of desperate at this point so we’ll try anything
 
Giving more ondansetron will not make him nauseous. It doesn’t last a lot of hours though which is why sometimes with super bad nausea every 6-8 hours is needed.

That makes sense. He already seems to be responding a bit better to the dose every 8 hours so thank you for that!
