Yesterday was.... I dunno! Another case of: "the bean went hiking and missed his AM cycle". :roll: :roll: I suspect though that it was yellow, a flat yellow, though I really hope he did find the blues by by nadir. Maybe he did have a gig with The Blue Mannie Group in the Blue Grotto while I was gone. :-D :-D :cool: He did have a decent cycle during the PM one - made the blues, and seemed to have set up a nice blue surf. I heard rumors of midnight performance of the Blue Mannie Group... Well done Mannie! Lubs ya big guy. cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D It was hike day yesterday. As always I wondered if he would greet me when I got home - with that "where have you been look", but salsa... NO MANNIE! no greeting, no look, no prance , no icy cold "where have you been " stare... oh oh thought he bean! I finally found him - out on the deck, in a sunbeam, napping away with that face turned into the fun. :cool: I went to give him a pet, crossed in front of eh sunbeam... bad move. :shock: :shock: :shock: It was then that I got eh icy cold start: "You are blocking the sun silly bean, so move, 'K?" :lol: :lol: :lol: Sheshhhh.... reports have it that he spent alot of time outdoors yesterday. I have no doubt that after being confined to quarters the day before while the deck dried that he just had to be out. It was nice day here, so I don't blame him. :-D :-D This morning we had a great test, feed (YES!!!!!), shoot and clean plate club (YAY, membership still intact), AND the auto feeder was ignored by Mannie, (again!) :shock: Elsa too (again)... Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D

Have a great day everyone! I am not too sure what will be here today. Since I have played alot over the past few days I suppose that I really should tend to the chores.... and the laundry... and the shopping: human and furkid... and pay bills.... and clean. well maybe all but the cleaning art... :lol: :lol:

Hey everybody! BACK TO RUSTY"S!! Word has it that there is mouse in the house, and the mighty Hunter needs our help to catch it. I so hope we can go fishing today, since we gots rained out yesterday. I never seen waves so big on a lake before. :shock: Good thing we had the porches and good fuds! You guys in for today? see you!! ~~ Mannie

Nice blue start for Mannie today. Maybe you'll see some green later. It's nice he finally got to relax in the sun yesterday after not getting to go out the day before. Those pictures are beautiful. It's amazing how many beautiful areas you have around you.

Morning Carla ~O) ~O) ~O) It is a good start, and maybe we will. That would be nice!! Our paws are crossed here. :-D And yes, he was very happy to be able to go out yesterday. Thx too on the pics - we are very lucky in that we do have so many beautiful places to visit: quite the diverse landscape. :cool:

Morning Helen ~O) ~O) ~O) THX too on the pics - it was so pretty there. It does do just that: removes all the worries. Hiking is such a nice way to see it all.

Morning Michelle and nice blue there for Mannie and thanks on the ~O) ~O) So funny with Mannie in the sun and the look when you are blocking the sun! :lol: Wow those are really beautiful pics of your hike yesterday. How cool to have it in driving distance and thanks on the links. So many beautiful pics on your FB, too.

Mannie, back to Rusty's today to see if there are more mousies to catch. Yikes, I've never caught one in years! I hope so, too, on the fishin so that we can do some grillin. See ya at curb, Mags

Hi Ann - Yep, he was funny yesterday with that sun stuff. The nerve of me! Thanks on the pics. I really liked this area. it is a bit of a drive, like 2.5 hours, but worth the effort. The views just getting to this place were as nice as the actual location.

Well it looks like Mannie has plans for a performance today! Nice to hear that he was able to enjoy all those magical sunbeams. I bet that made up for the 'lock down' he experienced when you were staining the deck.
Love the pictures you posted:) When I lived out in BC in the late 90's I travelled to Mt. Baker quite a bit. It's one of my favourite mountains to go snowboarding on as it gets SO much powder!

Hi Tamara - I think he does! I like this +4, way to go Mannie!! :-D A big yes on the magical sunbeams - what a relief after his lock down. poor guy! THX on the pics - quite the area isn't it. I will have to make more visits there, loved every minute of it!

Michelle, late ~O) NIce to see the Blue Mannie Band back in session! So, if you turn off the auto feeder, do Mannie and Elsa clamor for it? Just curious if cat logic works in reverse.

Another beautiful blue day in Mannie land. He is SO close for that PMPS. I'm sure he'll be back to blue in no time. Right Mannie?

Today wasn't a good day for catching sunbeams for us. I hope it was better for you. Loved the pics, I've done some hiking (and skiing) at Baker and it's a gorgeous area.

Hi Wendy - THX - he is close isn't he! Maybe he'll head back to those blues later tonight. Paws crossed! Nope on those sunbeams today - the threat of rains is out there, it's been gray dreary and overcast, with winds to boot. What happened to yesterday when it was sunny and 82???? Very cool on Baker - I loved this trip, and will have to go back. It took a while to get there, and I couldn't stay as long as I would have liked and still be back in time for Mannie. So looks like I will have to make another trip. Works for me! :-D

Michelle, that middle pic of Mt. Baker is fantastic. It looks almost like a painting. You ought to enter it in a photo contest!

Mannie looks good today.

Yo mannie, thanks for the help with the mice. I think we scared the rest of them away. Tomorrow let's go hunting again. It will be my last day at camp this trip. The beans are going canoeing, so we can cook and hunt, fish, swim, party. See ya tomorrow,
