Good morning! I am off today so grandma has a break :smile: My new vial was shipped yesterday so I hope it comes today while Im at home. It was shipped from 2 hours away and Im tracking it. It left Tampa at 1am. I sure hope it doesnt get warm along the way.It was shipped with an ice pack, so Im hoping it is fine. We have stinky pinky this am! Dislike! Have a great day everyone!

Well I just got the insulin in the regular mail, and it is not cold or cool even, although it does not feel warm. It was shipped in a usps small box with a couple of ziplock bags, in which one was a wet sponge with obviously melted ice(water) that was room temp :roll: . The insulin was not in either bag. The other bag was empty. I hope it is not compromised, and I dont think Im gonna open it just yet, at least until it cools down in the fridge a few days. At least it wasnt full price(81.00), so if it is bad, it is at least not a 230.00 loss. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Chi Chi didnt make it to green by nadir, and I held off her mid day meal for an hour to see how low she went.120 isnt bad, but it isnt great. I have a Dr. appt at +7.5, so I will test when I get home. First I have to go to Petsmart for fuds and treatz

Nice slide down for Chi Chi today- glad to hear your mom got a break today! Gosh, I hope your new vial of insulin is okay?? I just got pens this time, I worried all the time the vial of Lantus was going stale.
