Sarah, those of you who work AND do this sugar dance have my awe and appreciation ...don't know how you do it !!' You are awesome fur baby momma :bighug:
I’m not sure how I do it either! Before Blaze’s diagnosis, I would be in bed by 8pm EVERY NIGHT. Not anymore! But I love Blaze and care about him and his health so much that I’m willing to make some sacrifices to get him better :cat:

Thank you! :bighug:

I know how badly you wanted that green tonight and that's fine... I know how that feels but in the future if you see a good size drop early in the cycle, feed Blaze LC to slow him down early and lengthen the slide. It's easier than holding PJ parties on a work night and you'll get another green on a weekend, hopefully a day cycle, soon enough. Feeding early might also lessen some bouncing because quick drops can bring on bounces just like lower numbers do.
Okay got it, will do. I just didn’t want to jump the gun on HC food to early. I fed him LC at the first couple tests but waited to give MC until the +4 test and then gave HC at +4.5.

So in then future, if the +2 or +3 test is a pretty big drop, give LC snacks first for the next couple hours before going to MC or HC?

Keep track of what you did tonight. Some kitties need LC, some MC to keep surfing. Depends on size of drop too. Usually HC would only be when the going gets tough. Maybe a bigger snack of LC at +2 or +3, and if that doesn't do it for Blaze, next time use MC. A little experimenting to see how much of food bump he gets always helps.

Okay thank you Linda. I like the idea of larger LC snacks at +2 and +3 in the future and then moving to MC if that doesn’t work, and holding out on HC until it’s necessary. I know it’s all trial and error with food until you figure out what works best, thank you so much for helping me. I know these were good numbers tonight, I didn’t feel panicked at all, but I know he wasn’t in dangerous numbers. Hopefully I can get to the point where we safely surf:cool:

Thanks again Linda, so glad to have you help me through this! Blaze says. Thanks auntie Linda! :cat:

Thank you @Nan & Amber for helping me so much too, so lucky to have ya’ll:bighug:
