Good Fursday Morning, LL! Hope everyone is doing well......yesterday, well yesterday was just a crazy day for me and I never even turned on the computer. Felt disconnected all day...

Today was a busy start for Zoe....good test-feed-shoot ...lots and lots of purrs. But then she got right down to business with a 49 at +2 :shock: As much as I wanted to feed her some medium carb food, I went with low carb to see if she would get up on her green surf board for me....and she did. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: She is happily snoozing on the lanai...it is not raining and there is no wind (right now) so life is good!

I am waiting on a call back from her vet.....going to start her on Flagyl because of liqui-poo and throw-up issues, we are going to try a month of that and see if it controls it or better yet STOPS it altogether. Also going to start her on Adequan for the arthritis in her back hips.....so any one with experience with either meds...feel free to tell me about your experiences. :smile:

Good morning!! Way to go Zoe! Surf away pretty girl.

Tarragon is on flagyl and has been for about 4 months. It is the only thing that keeps the liqui poo away. We haven't had any issues with it. He takes 1/4 - 1/2 of a 25 mg pill every day.

I don't have experience with adequan for cats, but I give injections to our lab for arthritis. It has been a god send for him. He had 2 surgeries to repair a torn acl (ccl in dogs) and has arthritis in that knee. It was like he was a brand new puppy after just a few injections. Hopefully they will let you give it at home because it is a lot cheaper that way.

oh sherry, your story about zoe and the pretending to have low numbers so she could have treats . . . awesome. just had to tell you how much i enjoyed it! silly kitters - or should i say smart kitters!? :lol:

Some peeps here use Fortiflora for diarrhea, but I'm sure flagyl is much better--Hope that helps a lot!
Good reports about adequan, my vet offered it to us--Check on line for any side effects-OK?

AWESOME NUMBERS for Zoe - love all those greens.

Good luck with the meds... sorry, but I have no experience with any of them... I hope it all goes well.
