I THINK she's the one who vomited overnight. She left some spots of bloody urine on her pee pad, so I'm 99% sure she has a UTI - hopefully, I can get her into the vet soon. I suspect that's the cause for this morning's higher number.

Vet confirmed UTI today - seems like a pretty severe one. How do they develop these things in what seems to be literally overnight?? I suspect her 333 tonight is from both today's stress plus the infection. Poor baby. Started her on Clavamox tonight.

oh Amy.
i'm so sorry. well it's good that you know what's wrong and can fix it. i have 1 who gets frequent uti's. i give her sub q fluids in addition to the clavamox. it helps to flush the infection out. i hope she feels better fast. cat_pet_icon

Thanks, Nadine! She seems to feel fine...just like a kitty to mask that she has something bad going on!

Amy,

My Adah Mae has interstitial cystitis and gets UTIs easily. She gets 14 drops twice daily of Newton's Homeopathic for Pets Bladder/Kidney preparations and it has greatly helped. She is terrible to pill so being able to put some preventative drops on FDC and prevent infections has been wonderful for her sanity and my skin.

Thanks, Nadine! I found some on Amazon, so I can get a donation for Diabetic Cats in Need with my order.
