I'm sorry I can't get on FDMB too much lately. Work is very time consuming, but it is a good time consuming. I am very happy with my new job and things are going well. I wish I could say the same about Simon. He has not been feeling well since yesterday. He seems "off" and I am worried that it may be the beginning of another pancreatitis issue. I gave him fluids yesterday and Pepcid and Ondansetron. Today after work, I am going to bring him to the vet for a Cerenia shot. All of those things together seemed to help the last time so paws crossed that it will help today. His allergies also seem to be bothering him a little more -- I guess it is that time of the year. His appetite is off and he only wants to eat the moderate to higher carb food. I am letting him have it because it is more important that he eats. I can always adjust his insulin.

Please send healing vines to Mr. Simon today.

How wonderful that work is going so well. that is great news.

I hope Simon feels better soon. it never is fun when they don't feel well, or are off. Sounds like a good plan for him. Be well Simon!

Have a great day today. I hope all goes well. Healing vines for Simon!

Hi guys .. Glad to hear your work is going well .. Sending all positive thoughts to simon that his meds will help him feel better asap! have a great day!

DH took Simon to get a Cerenia shot today and I gave him fluids when I got home from work. Simon ate all his fuds tonight and seems a little less tired looking. One little baby step at a time!
Amy, Michelle, and Devon, thanks for the healing vines -- they are definitely helping!

Yay, Simon! You can get Cerenia in olio form (much cheaper than a shot) or get pre-filled syringes (the needles are like harpoons though  but also cheaper than going to the vet).

I'm glad Simon is feeling better! When Trix had p-titis this past spring, we took her in for one cerenia shot, but then did the next few ourselves at home...as Liz mentioned, it was cheaper, plus less stressful for Trix. Our vet was also very adamant about how important daily fluids were for p-titis, so I would ask your vet if you should be doing fluids every day until Simon feels better.

Keep eating and feeling better, Simon!

Sending a ton of prayers for Simon to feel better. You are on top of it, Georgia. He couldn't have a better mom.

I'm so glad you are loving your new job.hugs!!
