Good Morning, Everyone,

I think one or both shots yesterday must have been fur shots. This morning's shot was weird, too (no "pop"; no usual grumble from Rusty). Neither Edward nor I smelled insulin, so I hope it got in. This AM cycle is the 7th cycle on the new, 1.25-unit dose. The 250 is disheartening (I'm hoping it is attributable to fur shots). The car trip down to camp today won't help! Otherwise, Rusty is acting fine. He slept with us all night, woke me up with head butts and kisses, peed in his lb (at bedtime and also upon rising this morning), ate his breakfast in 2 sittings and wanted more. We'll be leaving in mid morning. I won't be testing again until +5.5, at which point we should be close to nadir.
It stopped raining, but is dark and damp. Tomorrow, after morning fog, is supposed to be partly sunny and in the 70s. That will be good for the first day of 90-miler Canoe Race (the most difficult day). Rusty will have all afternoon and evening today and all day tomorrow to chillax. He's looking forward to seeing his pals.

Hi Kitties, Today's the day! We're finally going to camp and I hope all of you can come to hang out. Mannie's got the bus all ready. Tobey has his new waders. We'll fish, paddle, grill, and have fun, maybe even do some more mousing. See you all later,

Bummer on the fur shots, hope today's was a good one and Rusty comes down some.

Good morning! Hope Rusty comes down for you today and that it wasn't a fur shot. Maybe vacation is just what he needs. Have a lot of fun on your trip to Camp Stu and working the race tomorrow. Sounds like the weather will clear for you and be a nice temp.

Hi Ella, even though you didn't hear the pop, I hope some juice still got in Rusty. I know how it is as I listen for the same pop. Maybe it was just a fur shot last night, and today you will see better numbers. Hope the car ride doesn't stress Rusty.

Rusty, I will be seeing you later at Camp Stu after Mannie and the KTSS bus picks us up. I have a new pink floatie. Can't wait, Maggie

Morning guys! Wow on the amps. I am sorry to see Rusty in yellow - I do so hope he come down for you. It is disheartening, I know. Keep on truckin'. It is good I think that he feels fine, doing normal Rusty things. and Rusty?: you think GREEN! and try and not get car sick, OK?

Have a safe trip guys - I hope you see improvement in the weather, especially tomorrow for the race. Good luck to your friend. I hope he does well.

Rusty!! we is all ready!!! The bus is all stocked for our trip to Camp Stu! I can hardly waits!! I brought lots of stuff for the hot tuna toddys - I bet we all will need them See you there. I can hardly wait to camp out by the fireplace, and hang out on the dock... and fishing is a given! See you soon! ~~ Mannie

Hi guys .. I'm sorry rusty is sitting up on the yellow floor this morning .. I hope the car ride doesn't upset him to much and he doesn't go much higher .. Hope the weather clears up for the canoe race .. have a great day!

Rusty, Willie can only come to Camp if you promise there will be no mousing. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: Unless you can get him to promise not to go mousing at home!! :lol: :lol:

I hope some of it got in and the trip isn't too much stress. sounds like perfect weather for the race tomorrow.

Rusty ! I'm all packed, even got my wetsuit, but I had to promise to leave the scuba gear at home. flip_cat flip_cat I can't wait for Mannie to get here w/ the bus! -- Tess

Hi again, We are here at Camp Stu. This machine is as slow as molasses and I hope I don't lose this post again. Rusty had a good first half of the trip, but then got carsick on a sharp bend in the road. Poor kitty! He used his car litterbox at least 3 times (car trips are good for a cleaning out! Good boy!) I am glad to see that his numbers did come down today despite the stress of the trip. Maybe tomorrow we'll be back in good numbers (if I can avoid another fur shot). But tomorrow we'll be out all day and I'll only be able to get AMPS and PMPS.
Rusty enjoyed some outdoors time this afternoon. The SUN CAME OUT!!! And we sat on the grass with him for over an hour. He was very good and only tried to get under the cabin once! Edward and I had a short paddle and then our friends from down the road came over for an impromptu spaghetti supper. Tomorrow it's off to the 90-mile canoe race. Rusty will be on his own with his automat. I hope his pals decide to sleep over so he can have some company.

Not a bad PMPS~ for all thestress of the ride. I don't think it was a furshot this morning. :-D

Hi Ella: sorry Rusty got sick on the trip up but it's good to see him back in blue so maybe there were some fur shots.

Glad you had some sunshine and some time outside and the canoe races will be on!!

Gracie and Tobey are headed to Camp Stu!! Pls make sure she gets her lev :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Hi Ella - it is nice to see Rusty has come down some - YAY! an that with a car trip - maybe he is getting used to all of this. Bummer on the pukus... didn't Stu used to do the same thing? on that turn? It sounds like Rusty has settled in well, even some grass playing. :-D :-D very nice! I hope you enjoyed your dinner. Good luck tomorrow - I hope your friend does well at the races.
