Hi everyone,
Sending stay safe vines to all in Irma's path.
Rusty held the fort for us while we were pit crewing at the 90 Miler. He was alone all day and was so happy to see us that he danced around and meowed joyous sounds when we got home. Such a wonderful kitty! He ate quite a bit of the food in his automat.
We had a good day in a smorgasbord of weather: some sun, some rain squalls with high winds, cold temperatures for this time of year (50 degrees in wind and rain is COLD!). The paddlers got soaked in one very windy downpour. Our friend's boat was full of water when he finished. We hope for more benign weather tomorrow. The most difficult carry is tomorrow: 1.5 miles on wet rocks around Racquette Falls.
We head home tomorrow so as to be at the finish of day 2 .
Thinking of you all and sending vines to all in need.
